FIDE Grand Prix - Beijing 2013

What a fantastic year 2013! Tata Steel at Wijk aan Zee, London Candidates 2013, recently Tal Memorial at Moscow, Andy Murray (or Sir Andrew soon) has eventually become a Wimbledon Champion and now we can watch an ongoing FIDE Grand Prix in Beijing, China; we can also looking forward to watching a World Championship match between Vishy Anand and Magnus Carlsen in September which will be played in Chennai (Madras), India.

In Beijing tournament there are 12 GMs rated 2700+ and Morozevich, Gelfand, Mamedyarov and Karjakin are players who had participated at recent Tal Memorial in Moscow. So there will be plenty of chess we can looking forward to.
The tournament detail you can find on the official website here and you can download the games from here.

Table after Round 4

After 4 rounds it is Sergey Karjakin who took the lead when he gained unbelievable 3½ points!

Let's have look at his games.

Vassily Ivanchuk hasn't had very good year so far. In London Candidates he had lost several games on time even in very good positions. In this tournament one can hardly say he is doing much better, but he plays very interesting games.
I brought for you his games he has played so far in the tournament and there is very interesting game against Mamedyarov which Vassily lost, but he went for very interesting Queen sac for 3 light pieces and after some transformations it was Queen against rook and two light pieces which could have been drawn if he had played precisely.
